Its author Father Crespo Pozo, had for his investigations, vigils and costly walks that were rewarded with the kind collaboration of Nobles as the Dukes of Medinaceli facilitating the archive of the Grand Casa Marquesal de Camarasa, etc. All this resulted in a plurality of sources of consultation that make the scholarly work, encyclopedic and illustrative in Galician heraldry. Next lets look at the characteristics of some figures that we can find in heraldry and crests:

* WHEEL: The Wheels symbolize Speed in carrying out the most arduous undertakings. They are also a symbol of Fortune, Favor and Inconstancy.

* TURTLE: The Turtle is one of the most noble figures, being a symbol of the Knight who retires late from combat, facing his enemy until the last moment, trusting in his own strength.

* WALL: The Wall represents the Noble Heart of the Knight, in which no betrayal or disloyalty can enter.

* NETTLE: The Nettle symbolizes Affliction.

* BRIDGE: The Bridge symbolizes Alliance and Union.

* EMPIRE: The Head of the Empire, belonging to Italian heraldry, represents a political alliance with the Ghibelline party (derived from the Hohenstaufen, Lords of Waibling) who were loyal to the Emperor.
